La traviata and a Gala performance in Eastern Europe

Laura Alonso Padín sings the role of Violetta Valery in Verdi’s stunning opera La traviata this fall, with the Rousse State Opera in Ruse, Bulgaria. Maestro Friderike Kinle leads the Orchestra of the Rousse State Opera for this production, which takes place on September 24 in Opera Hall.

Following her performance in Bulgaria, Ms. Alonso Padín travels to the Czech Republic, to sing with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in an Opera Gala. The concert will be held at Prague’s Smetana Hall in the Municipal House, one of the grandest venues in Eastern Europe. She joins Maestro Mario Kosik and the ensemble for this performance, which takes place on October 25.
